This role will specifically focus on optimizing checkout and payment infrastructure performance, subscription management , post-purchase experience, and analytics tracking to ensure a seamless, high-converting revenue engine.

This is a high-accountability role for a highly independent operator who can identify problems, define solutions, and drive execution with minimal oversight. You will report to Product Lead (Web) and work closely with our Engineering, Design, Data, and US-based Marketing teams to continuously improve conversion, payment success rates, and overall funnel performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead checkout and payment flow optimization to improve conversion and reduce friction
  • Diagnose funnel drop-offs using data and form clear, testable hypotheses
  • Define and implement accurate event tracking across the Web funnel (data layer, GTM, analytics tools)
  • Ensure data integrity across analytics platforms
  • Build and prioritize a structured experimentation roadmap with measurable revenue impact
  • Write detailed PRDs including functional and tracking requirements
  • Drive initiatives from discovery → implementation → launch → post-launch analysis
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Web Product Manager owning high-traffic web funnels in a B2C or growth-focused environment
  • Direct experience with checkout flows and payment provider integrations
  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion, authorization rates, revenue, etc.
  • Strong understanding of payment authorization flows, decline reasons, retry logic, and subscription billingStrong analytical mindset with deep familiarity with web analytics (GA4, Amplitude, etc.) and experimentation (Optimizely) tools
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and defining data layer structures
  • Proven ability to independently drive initiatives from problem identification to measurable impact; Strong ownership mentality - takes full responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks
  • Deep understanding of UX and user journeys & ability to write clear product specs
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) - comfortable collaborating daily with US-based stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and across time zones, including occasional later hours (e.g., shifted schedules)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in D2C or subscription-based businesses
  • Experience with high-AOV or complex purchase flows
  • Experience working with multiple payment providers at scale; Familiarity with multi-region payments, 3DS, or fraud prevention
  • Experience designing or auditing experimentation frameworks with statistical rigor

  • 4+ years of experience as a Web Product Manager
  • Experience with checkout flows and payment provider integrations
  • Strong analytical mindset with knowledge of web analytics and experimentation tools
