Role Summary

Free People is looking for a highly organized, detail-obsessed Web Producer to help keep FreePeople.com running smoothly every day. You'll be the person who makes sure our product shows up online accurately, on time, and ready to shop, whether it's a daily drop, a marketing launch, a catalog release, or a marketplace listing. You'll also help build and update the editorial and promotional content that brings our brand to life online. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who thrives on structure, loves seeing a task through to completion, and takes pride in getting every detail right.

Role Responsibilities

Product activations:

  • Manage daily product activations to ensure new arrivals go live accurately and on schedule
  • Activate product in support of marketing campaigns, launches, and promotions
  • Coordinate product activations aligned with physical catalog releases
  • Activate and manage product listings for marketplace channels
  • Assist with the ISNO (in-stock-not-online) report, identifying and resolving product that is available in inventory but not yet live on site

Product maintenance:

  • Maintain product accuracy across the site, including reclasses, new size activations, and PDP updates
  • Coordinate product reshoots and upload new imagery and video content
  • Maintain markdown pricing on products, ensuring prices are accurate and reflect current promotions

Content production:

  • Build editorial content pages in our CMS using established templates
  • Update site content in support of marketing initiatives and promotions
  • QA all product and content updates across browsers and devices before and after launch

Communication and process:

  • Partner closely with merchandising, marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to keep timelines aligned and everyone informed
  • Track requests and deadlines so nothing slips through the cracks
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and find practical solutions to keep things moving
  • Help document processes and suggest improvements to make production more efficient
Role Qualifications
  • 0–1 year of experience in e-commerce, web production, digital operations, or a related field (internships count)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks with accuracy
  • Clear, proactive communication, including knowing when to follow up and when to escalate
  • A sharp eye for detail and a natural habit of double-checking your work
  • A creative problem-solving mindset when things don't go as planned
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and systems quickly
  • Exposure to a CMS, PIM, or e-commerce platform
  • Experience with marketplace platforms
  • Basic familiarity with HTML
  • A genuine love for the Free People brand and customer
