Web Development Specialist

CSC® is seeking a web developer with an eye for user experience and a passion for innovative problem solving. This position will be responsible for helping manage all aspects of CSC's marketing websites, as well as our intranet site hosted on Microsoft SharePoint.
In this role, you will be working with the UX Web Development team within Marketing. You will be responsible for executing website and intranet updates and projects while abiding by current user experience and accessibility standards and enforcing CSC's brand guidelines. Requested tasks and projects range from simple text changes on a page to major redesign projects.

• Overall responsibility for maintaining and updating all marketing websites
• Coding and revising webpages based on requirements
• Support for our internal intranet site hosted on Microsoft SharePoint
• Innovative problem solving for simple and complex requests
• Collaborate with other teams to implement website and intranet projects
• Maintain current user experience and accessibility standards
• Enforce CSC brand styles and guidelines

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related to web or multimedia design
• 1 - 4 years of experience with modern HTML/CSS required
• 1 - 4 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint required
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience using a CMS (content management system) like Joomla or Drupal
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and projects within the constraints of timelines
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly self-motivated to work independently
• Experience with Joomla CMS a plus
• Experience with user-centered design principles and accessibility, including familiarity with WCAG and Section 508 is a plus
