Role Overview
The Front-End Web Developer will support the Marketing organization by developing and maintaining high-quality front-end experiences for the global marketing website and related digital properties. This role will be part of the U.S.-led Web Operations team and will partner closely with the Director of Digital Experience & Web Strategy, web operations resources, UX/design partners, back-end development, SEO, analytics, and business stakeholders.
This role must be able to support the current and future website roadmap. The ideal candidate should bring strong front-end development fundamentals and be comfortable working across modern CMS, component-based, and AI-enabled digital experience environments. This is not intended to be a content production or design-only role it is focused on building scalable, accessible, performant, reusable, and future-ready front-end experiences.
This role will help translate brand, UX, content, SEO/AEO/GEO, accessibility, analytics, and conversion requirements into front-end components and page experiences that can scale across a global B2B SaaS website. The role should also bring a forward-looking mindset toward AI-assisted development, structured content, personalization, intelligent search, chatbot/conversational experiences, and future digital experience innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end website components, templates, layouts, and page experiences across the global marketing website and related digital properties.
Support front-end development for Drupal 11 TBD: Drupal 11 or a future headless/Sanity-based architecture, depending on final platform direction next week.
Translate approved designs, wireframes, UX patterns, and brand guidelines into responsive, accessible, production-ready front-end code.
Build and maintain reusable components that support scalable page creation, consistent user experience, and reduced dependence on one-off development work.
Partner with the back-end developer to ensure front-end components are properly connected to CMS structures, content models, APIs, forms, integrations, and publishing workflows.
Ensure front-end experiences support SEO, AEO/GEO, structured content, schema needs, metadata, page performance, analytics tagging, and conversion tracking requirements.
Optimize front-end performance, including Core Web Vitals, page load speed, image handling, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser consistency.
Support implementation of AI-forward digital experiences, including intelligent search interfaces, chatbot/conversational entry points, personalization components, guided journeys, and structured content presentation.
Participate in QA, UAT, troubleshooting, regression testing, release validation, and production support for website enhancements and launches.
Maintain front-end development documentation, component usage guidance, technical notes, and standards that enable the Web Operations team to scale.
Work within Git, version control, code review, deployment, and agile delivery processes to ensure high-quality and controlled releases.
Use AI-enabled coding tools and modern development practices to improve speed, quality, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong development judgment.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks or libraries.
Experience developing responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences for enterprise or large-scale websites.
Experience working with CMS-driven websites, preferably Drupal, Sanity, or other modern/headless CMS platforms.
Ability to translate design files, component specifications, and UX requirements into production-ready front-end code.
Understanding of component-based development, design systems, reusable patterns, and scalable front-end architecture.
Working knowledge of SEO, structured content, schema, metadata, page performance, accessibility, and analytics tagging considerations.
Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals, front-end performance, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Comfort working with APIs, CMS content models, forms, third-party scripts, personalization tools, and analytics/conversion tracking requirements.
Experience working with Git, version control, code review, release processes, and agile development workflows.
Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, copilots, automated testing, or workflow automation is preferred.
Experience with B2B, SaaS, global, multilingual, or enterprise marketing websites is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strong front-end developer who understands how to build scalable, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences within a modern marketing website environment. This person should be comfortable working in either a Drupal 11 or headless/Sanity direction and should be able to adapt as the final platform decision is made.
This person should be detail-oriented, technically strong, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work across both technical and non-technical teams. They should be able to operate effectively within a globally distributed team, partner with U.S.-based web leadership and stakeholders, and use AI tools pragmatically to improve development speed, quality, testing, and documentation without over-relying on them in place of sound development judgment.
Success Measures
Front-end components, templates, and page experiences are scalable, reusable, accessible, and aligned to brand and UX requirements.
The website experience performs well across devices, browsers, and key performance measures, including Core Web Vitals and page speed.
Front-end development supports SEO, AEO/GEO, analytics, conversion tracking, and structured content requirements.
Drupal 11 or Sanity/headless front-end work is supported effectively based on final platform direction.
Website enhancements and launches are delivered with strong QA, documentation, and controlled release practices.
AI-enabled development practices improve productivity and quality in meaningful ways while maintaining technical control.
