Overview:

We seek a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our Marigold Enterprise team. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and customizing our personalization platform for our clients. You will collaborate closely with the Solution Lead and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects and drive customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

As a Web Developer in our Marigold Enterprise team, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing our personalization platform for clients. You will collaborate with the services teams, sales team, and customer success team to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise in web development and familiarity with marketing automation platforms will enable you to create personalized user experiences and optimize the platform's functionality. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work will contribute to the success of our projects and drive customer satisfaction.

You may ‘major’ in single or multiple platforms across the enterprise, with ‘minor’ expertise in others. The platforms and technologies you may work across are:

• Marigold Messaging (Cheetah Digital, Selligent, Sailthru, LiveClicker)

• Marigold Experiences Enterprise

• Marigold Loyalty

Responsibilities:

• Implement, deploy campaigns, and customize platforms to meet client requirements and provide personalized user experiences.

• Collaborate with the services teams, sales team, and customer success team to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain solutions and features using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant tools and technologies, such as JQuery, SQL, Groovy, React and Hive with a mobile-first approach

• Optimize performance and ensure compatibility across browsers, email clients, and devices.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform.

• Train users on our platforms, and excel in creative problem-solving, delivering high-quality solutions to meet customer requirements. 

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve web development practices within the Marigold Enterprise, Professional Services team.

Success Measures:

• Timely and successful implementation of the solutions for clients.

• Creation of engaging and personalized user experiences on client websites and email campaigns.

• Positive feedback from clients on the functionality and performance of the solutions delivered.

• Collaboration with the service team and other team members to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

• Continuously improve web development practices within the Marigold Enterprise, Professional Services Team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Web Developer, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies including APIs. Experience in mobile optimization for websites. 

• Strong understanding of data structures and query logic. 

• Familiarity with marketing automation and personalization platforms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, web development) or equivalent experience.
