Job Description:
Quevera is seeking a Web Developer I to support mission-critical programs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based solutions within secure customer environments.
The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams to design and implement web applications that enhance the exchange of information and support customer requirements. Working throughout the software development lifecycle, you will develop user-friendly web solutions, integrate web technologies into cohesive applications, and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web-based applications.
- Analyze customer requirements to determine appropriate web technologies and implementation approaches.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and integrate web technologies into cohesive website designs.
- Design and develop visually appealing, content-rich, and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Maintain functioning, user-accessible websites and support website planning and deployment.
- Write and maintain technical documentation to support website maintenance and upgrades.
- Develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance web-based applications.
- Troubleshoot software issues and implement solutions using current web technologies.
- Work with management and information technology personnel to determine technical specifications.
- Utilize web technologies and object-oriented programming languages to develop user interface features, site functionality, databases, and web applications.
- Maintain configuration management throughout the website development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Four (4) years of experience as a Web Developer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) additional years of Web Developer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages.
- Experience supporting website planning, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Experience developing object-oriented web applications using technologies such as Java, CGI, HTML, XML, or similar programming languages.
- Experience developing user interface features, databases, site animations, special effects, or e-business applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in support of web-based software solutions.
