Role Purpose
The Web Developer will manage and enhance BlackBull Markets’ public websites, ensuring high standards of performance, automation, and multilingual usability. Working closely with the marketing and IT teams, the role focuses on maintaining a secure, responsive, and scalable web environment as the company expands its technology stack beyond WordPress.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development and Maintenance

  • Manage and maintain BlackBull Markets’ multilingual WordPress websites.
  • Implement and update content using WordPress and Elementor.
  • Create and optimise custom post types and fields with JetEngine (Crocoblocks).
  • Develop and modify proprietary WordPress plugins.
  • Ensure all pages are responsive, secure, and performant across devices.

Integration and Automation

  • Build and maintain REST API integrations with third-party services.
  • Develop and manage automation workflows using N8n.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new features and ensure site stability.

Version Control and Documentation

  • Use Git for version control and structured deployment workflows.
  • Document code and internal processes to support long-term maintenance.
  • Participate in English-language meetings with the global team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience developing or modifying custom WordPress plugins.
  • Familiarity with REST API integration and dynamic content using JetEngine (Crocoblocks).
  • Understanding of N8n for workflow automation.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Ability to convert Figma mock-ups into responsive layouts.
  • Experience managing multilingual sites using WPML.
  • Knowledge of web security and performance optimisation best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Git version control.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Availability to work on-site in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Vue.js).
  • Experience with Strapi or other headless CMS platforms.
  • Studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • Experience integrating or collaborating with third-party tools such as:
    • OptinMonster (lead generation and conversion)
    • Salesforce (CRM and automation integration)
    • MetaTrader (MetaQuotes) for financial data connections Core Competencies

  • Web performance optimisation and debugging.
  • Secure coding and best practices for plugin development.
  • Automation logic using n8n or equivalent tools.

This is a full-time on-site role based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The position involves collaboration with the marketing and IT teams in New Zealand and may require occasional virtual meetings outside standard local hours.
