Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, implementing backend logic, integrating third-party services, and ensuring performance and security of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
Write clean, secure, and scalable code.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate front-end components.
Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and optimization.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members.
Debug, troubleshoot, and perform performance tuning of applications.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong proficiency in Laravel (2+ years preferred).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
Experience with REST APIs, MySQL, and Git.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React is a plus).
Knowledge of deployment tools and DevOps practices is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have:
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Knowledge of Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or other Laravel ecosystem tools.
