We’re seeking a Web Designer with a web-first portfolio, a solid understanding of UI/UX and a systems background to join our team. This role goes beyond attention to detail—you’ll need expertise in content management systems (preferably Contentful), production design, and user experience to ensure the seamless presentation of assets.
In this position, you’ll manage and upload content, replicate assets, and work closely within the design-to-development workflow to maintain consistency across projects. The ideal candidate is thorough, precise, and able to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility for some evening and weekend work.

What You'll Do
- Content Management: Accurately enter, format, and publish content within the CMS, ensuring alignment with existing best practices and project requirements.
- Production Design: Lead the creation and editing of digital assets, such as a data visualization using design tools (e.g.Figma) to support content presentation.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality checks on content and assets for accuracy, consistency, and visual appeal across multiple devices and browsers.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to identify and correct any content or design errors before final publication.
- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, designers and developers to ensure seamless implementation and timely delivery of content.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines, including some evening and weekend work as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process optimization for content entry, asset management, and QA best practices.
What You Bring
- Experience with Contentful.
- Strong production design skills, with high proficiency Figma.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members across various departments.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced digital environment.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Prior experience in quality assurance or content review.
Pay Range
- The expected pay range for this role is $50-$70 per hour
- Our company has three regional pay bands that it adheres to depending on your location, we reference them as US 1, US 2, and US 3.
- US 3 is our base pay. Examples of cities in US 3 are Portland, Houston and Miami.
- US 2 pay is 7.5% higher than US 3 to meet the market rates. Examples of cities in US 2 are Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle.
- US 1 pay is 15% higher than US 3 to meet market rates. Examples of cities in US 1 are Brooklyn and San Francisco.
