JOB TITLE: Web Content Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a key member of the Digital Marketing team, the Web Content Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing web content to support the organization’s online presence and marketing objectives. This role ensures that all digital content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards while enhancing user experience and driving measurable results. The Web Content Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining efficient content workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging best practices to elevate the quality and performance of web assets.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Content Management  
    • Update, edit, and publish compelling web content using a Content Management System (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Commerce, or similar platforms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of updates.  
    • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice, tone, and guidelines across all web pages, blogs, and digital assets.  
    • Organize and manage digital assets (images, videos, documents) within the CMS, ensuring they are properly tagged, archived, and easily accessible for team use.  
    • Collaborate proactively with project managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to gather content requirements, clarify objectives, and establish realistic timelines for content delivery.  
    • Analyze existing content performance and provide actionable recommendations to enhance engagement, usability, and alignment with marketing goals.
  • Process & Workflow Management  
    • Adhere to established content approval and publishing workflows, ensuring all updates follow proper review cycles and meet deadlines.  
    • Conduct thorough reviews of content, proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting to uphold a high standard of quality.  
    • Optimize content to meet SEO best practices (e.g., keyword integration, meta descriptions), accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance), and UX guidelines to improve discoverability and inclusivity.  
    • Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for content processes, style guides, and templates to support team efficiency and consistency.  
    • Identify and propose opportunities to streamline content management workflows, leveraging automation tools or process improvements where applicable.  
    • Perform cross-device and cross-browser testing to validate content functionality, layout consistency, and optimal performance post-update.
  • Additional Responsibilities  
    • Stay informed about emerging trends in web content, CMS technology, and digital marketing to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the organization’s online presence.  
    • Support the integration of multimedia elements (e.g., images, videos) into web content, ensuring proper formatting and optimization for load speed and user experience.  
    • Track and report on content updates or performance metrics as needed, providing insights to inform future content strategies.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Strong proficiency in managing web content through CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Commerce, WordPress, or equivalent).  
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and UX best practices.  
  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven skills in proofreading and editing content for clarity and professionalism.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Highly organized with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.  
  • Familiarity with digital asset management and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor content adjustments is a plus.  
  • Comfortable using collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, Trello, or Asana) to track progress and coordinate with teams.  
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess content performance and recommend data-driven improvements.  
  • Passion for staying current with digital marketing trends and technologies to continually enhance content quality.

EDUCATION:

•            Bachelor’s degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

•            1~3 years relevant experience

OTHER:

•            Willing to work on an EMEA shift and flexible to overlap with North America team’s schedule.
