SCOPE/CONTACTS:
Frequent customer contact, by telephone and e-mail. Contacts include customers, prospects, officers and employees, representatives of oil and gas purchasers, operators and division order analysts, attorneys, accountants, and others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the receipt, processing, accurate completion and return of all division and transfer orders.
- Responsible for maintaining records of all division orders.
- Receive, process and pay all monthly Joint Interest Billing Statements (JIB).
- Failure to perform duties accurately and timely could result in errors and possible loss of income to the account and the Trust Company.
- Results of work are reviewed.
- Physical effort required is average.
- Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- A minimum two years’ clerical/administrative or equivalent college experience is required.
- Three (3) years’ work experience with division orders, related documents or accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to work with decimals and fractions.
- Knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel and typing skills required.
- Familiarity with division orders is preferred but not necessary.
