What you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the Ad Operations and Product teams to drive continued growth in the company’s programmatic business.
- Manage and analyze the programmatic business data and provide the team with insights and direction. You will use our operational reporting infrastructure tools such as Datorama (Salesforce Marketing) and Looker so we can effectively measure revenue growth and performance across the world.
- Use exceptional analytical skills to uncover revenue opportunities across all platforms using data to advocate for investments with the Ad Operations and Product teams.
- Oversee day-to-day management of our mediation ad server to gain greater transparency around performance across all inventory sources (app and web) and inform our optimization strategies.
- Liaising with our network partners to ensure optimal set up and optimizations within our ad server (ad unit settings, ads.txt, SDK updates, etc.).
- Conduct A/B Testing to evaluate and validate optimization recommendations.
- Works in collaboration with the Programmatic Advertising Lead on pricing, set up and optimization towards key health metrics across the business.
- Prepare the monthly billing report for all programmatic business. Work closely with the finance and billing teams to investigate discrepancies.
- Become the SME across the organization as it pertains to programmatic advertising business.
- Staying up to date on market trends and changes in ad technology to advise the team.
What we're looking for:
- Must bring at least 3 years of ad operations experience, with a thorough knowledge of the ad tech industry
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape, including ad serving technology, supply side platforms and reporting tools
- Experience in working with large data sets, media analytics, campaign optimization and digital advertising metrics
- Experience in working with ad serving technology (AppLovin, Kevel or similar) and reporting tools (Datorama, Looker, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- Natural curiosity to dig deep into data to uncover new opportunities
- Experience managing and building thriving relationships with external partners
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present ideas and influence decision making
- A Degree or Diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Economics, or related a discipline is preferred, but not required
