What would you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
- Monitor treatment plant processes and equipment both manually and via SCADA automation, making adjustments as necessary to control their operation.
- Monitor, inspect and sample influent and effluent as required.
- Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis to determine compliance and satisfaction of water quality project goals
- Operate, maintain, control, and perform routine repair of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties.
- Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintain all necessary records.
- Perform general maintenance on plant equipment and maintain landscaping of the facility
- Must be computer literate and capable of working within databases, Microsoft Office and other project related software
What would you need to succeed?
- Experience in water or wastewater utilities is a plus
- The position is for Second Shift (3pm-11pm) both inside and outside in variable weather conditions
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
- Class “B” CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Ability to make sound decisions in process control and follow instructions, as well as follow safety procedures.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a DOT background check, DOT pre-placement physical and DOT drug screen before employment.
