What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
 
Regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Lift Stations as directed by the Project Manager. In this role you will be checking lift stations, servicing multiple pieces of mechanical and electrical equipment as directed by the Plant Manager.
 
Schedule: Hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Participates in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours. Will be required to respond to emergency or unpredictable situations. On call responsibility once every 5 weeks. You will be paid $200 for being on call and able to drive a company vehicle home to respond to call outs. Available to assist other staff members with call outs that require additional personnel.  

What will you need to succeed?

  • Missouri wastewater treatment plant operator’s license preferred. Or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license. Ability to obtain class B CDL within 6 months.
  • Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation' and maintenance of Wastewater Treatment and Lift station.
  • Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions involved in wastewater treatment work.
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.
