GBA is seeking a Wastewater Engineer - Technical SME to serve as a senior technical resource for our Water Environment teams across multiple regions. This role supports complex wastewater projects, provides high-level technical guidance, and helps strengthen engineering capability across our practice.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide senior technical guidance on complex wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects
  • Serve as a technical advisor to engineering teams across multiple offices
  • Support advanced treatment design, modeling, and system optimization
  • Guide solutions for technically challenging projects
  • Mentor experienced engineers and share discipline knowledge
  • Contribute to improved engineering standards and practices

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, biological engineering, agricultural engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Multi-state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in KS, MO, NE, or TX preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk project sites for prolonged periods.
