The Warehouser will perform general warehouse functions involved with shipping and receiving, delivery of raw materials and finished goods, which includes loading and unloading trucks, material movement transactions in SAP and MES and moving semi-trailers using company shag truck.  

This is for the B Shift

  • Perform general warehouse functions involved with shipping and receiving, delivery of raw materials and finished goods, which includes loading and unloading trucks, material movement transactions in SAP and FlexNet and moving semi-trailers using company shag truck.
  • Perform all receiving and/or shipping clerical activities when assigned and cycle counts of raw material and expense items.
  • Work with management to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
  • Drive company truck, including semi and trailer between all plant buildings and warehouse. Load and unload materials, delivering them by forklift, hand truck or other means to the proper department.
  • Keep an accurate account of all goods taken from warehouse stock.
  • Assist in unloading received material for placement in designated area.
  • Communicate and maintain a favorable relationship with fellow workers in own and other departments, Team Leaders, vendors, and freight companies, etc.
  • Ensure physical movement of materials have an accurate transaction systematically.
  • Work with minimal supervision and perform duties in a prompt and professional manner, insuring on-time deliveries of all materials.
  • Work with computer systems.
  • Knowledgeable in allocation process.
  • Assist in the training of new Associates on their respective shift.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.
  • General housekeeping and clean-up of work area / safety awareness.
  • Must maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Shift Leader and required to support the needs of the business
  • Must have regular, punctual attendance.
  • Possess a valid Drivers’ License.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills, including Microsoft Office, MES & SAP.
  • Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within 3 months.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Warehouse/Manufacturing experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
