The Opportunity -Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.
Program overviewThe AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What you'll get to do:
  • Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
  • Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel
  • Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy's
  • Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
  • Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
  • Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that arise

Who we're looking for:
  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
  • A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar and the application of warehousing principles and methodologies.
  • A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
  • High Risk work licence

Security requirement
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.

  • Townsville, QLD. Working alongside the Australian Army.
