Description:
This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Microsoft Domain Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years' experience and be responsible for, but not limited to: helping junior engineers with tasks if needed; planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the network and operational sites; traveling to remote locations to lead and perform network installations; independently performing troubleshooting, and providing status updates to Program personnel; and designing, developing, and implementing all WANs for their project.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in a related discipline.
- Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
- Must have Network Development experience developing, testing, and deploying new and upgraded capabilities.
- Must have experience and knowledge of IPSEC, Multicast PIM DM, MPLS, QOS, GRE tunnels, multiarea OSPF, and BGP traffic engineering.
- Experience analyzing packet flows using Wireshark or equivalent.
- Experience with the Juniper SRX firewall.
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
- Must have proven troubleshooting expertise.
- Must have experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Top Secret clearance desired.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
The proposed salary range for this position is $109.4k - $160.2k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
