PingWind is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Malware Analyst – Senior to join our team supporting the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in Adelphi, Maryland. The successful candidate will perform vulnerability analysis and reporting, and coordinate and collaborate with IT vulnerability patching staff to maximize the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program under this Task Order (TO).
Objective: The objective of this Task Order (TO) is to provide comprehensive Cybersecurity services, including but not limited to:
· Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
· Software Assurance
· Incident Response
· Training and Certification Validation
· Project Management and Project Support
· Above Baseline Project Support
· Cybersecurity Customer Response
· Vulnerability Management and Vulnerability Scanning
· Host Based Security System (HBSS) Administration
· Log Analysis
· Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) Compliance Oversight and Validation
· Research Development Engineering Network (RDENET) Support
· Classified Support
Key Responsibilities
· Perform thorough vulnerability analysis and reporting.
· Collaborate with IT vulnerability patching staff to enhance the vulnerability management program.
· Conduct risk analyses on alternative and innovative technical solutions.
· Provide recommendations to balance policy compliance with the flexibility needed for research missions.
· Maintain excellent working relationships with end-users and IT teams within ARL.
· Ensure compliance with DoD, Army, and ARL Cybersecurity policies.
· Support ARL's mission to provide innovative R&D resources for the Soldier.
Qualifications
· Security Clearance: Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
· Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of Cybersecurity experience, with at least five (5) years of A&A experience.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in vulnerability management, risk analysis, HBSS administration, log analysis, and STIG compliance.
· Soft Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work effectively with end-users and various IT teams.
Desired Competencies:
· Experience in supporting Army and Department of Defense (DoD) research environments.
· Familiarity with Army and Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) enterprise data.
· Ability to perform and lead Cybersecurity inspections.
· Proficiency in project management and project support within a Cybersecurity context.
