Telenor Norway is a key player in national defense, responsible for critical societal functions. We face attacks ranging from random and opportunistic to targeted and advanced. The Security, Privacy & BCM (SPB) unit is responsible for protecting Telenor Norway from all threats across all domains, performing governance, risk & compliance internally and externally, managing crisis management and business continuity planning (BCM), handling interfaces with regulatory authorities, and operating the company’s Cyber Security Operations Center. The unit consists of some of Norway’s leading security experts. Our mission is challenging, and the values we protect are significant. 

We are looking for a Vulnerability Management Engineer who will be a key resource in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our solutions. Our goal is to ensure that our entire technology portfolio is covered by a comprehensive and effective vulnerability management process.

What will you work on? 

• Scripting and customization: Develop and customize technical solutions to identify vulnerabilities. 

• APIs and integrations: Set up communication between different systems to ensure a smooth and holistic process. 

• Technical collaboration: Work closely with our technical teams to ensure vulnerabilities are understood, prioritized, and addressed. 

• Prioritization and mitigation: Use your technical expertise to assess risks and propose technical measures where necessary. 

• Operations: Ensure that our VM solutions are working optimally and in accordance with company guidelines. 

Who are we looking for? 

• Have strong technical understanding and a passion for security. 

• Have experience in operations, development, and networking. 

• Can work with scripting and have knowledge of web technologies. 

• Are curious, solution-oriented, and love diving deep into technical details. 

• Have a practical approach to challenges and thrive in collaboration with other professionals. 

• Can be security cleared to a Secret level (Hemmelig).
