Job Overview 
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Engineering to lead and drive the vision, development, and execution of our engineering strategy. This senior leadership role will oversee all engineering functions, including product development, technical architecture, and engineering teams. The VP of Engineering will work closely with executive leadership to align engineering goals with business objectives, scale engineering capabilities, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
The VP of Engineering will report directly to the CEO.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Digital Products & Platform Development: We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to drive the development and management of our digital products and platform initiatives. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of digital product development, from ideation to launch, while also ensuring that the underlying technology platforms support the scalability and innovation of these products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in digital product development, platform engineering, and cross-functional collaboration
• Enterprise Data Platform and Analytics: We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to drive the development, implementation, and optimization of our Enterprise Data Platform and Analytics capabilities. This role will oversee the architecture, management, and evolution of data platforms, as well as the deployment of analytics solutions that empower the organization to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence, and will be capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance and Thought Leadership: Bring expertise in life sciences and/or FDA-regulated environments to ensure compliance in all technology functions, providing thought leadership on regulatory best practices within a digital healthcare setting.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Provide guidance and growth opportunities to develop team members’ skills and career trajectories.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to align technology initiatives with business goals and customer needs, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

Minimum Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, Data engineering , Software Architecture with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Proven track record within life sciences or FDA-regulated environments; experience in digital healthcare is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in software Engineering, software architecture, modern data architecture and design,
• Experience in startup or small to midsize company environments, comfortable with fast-paced, hands-on roles.
• Strong people management skills, with a focus on team mentoring, coaching, and development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
