About the Role:
As VP, Shared Technology, you will lead our Product Engineering Team. You will be a thought partner in emerging technology and identity & access practices, enabling us to deliver innovative internal customer products in a digitally optimized organisation. You will be responsible for developing an inclusive, engaged, and agile workforce where technologists want to stay and grow their careers.
Responsibilities:
Partnering with the Shared Technology Product Leadership to build digital products to manage Identity & Access
Optimizing our Shared Technology estate through assessing and implementing emerging technologies trends to solve business challenges.
Developing an inclusive, engaged, agile culture to promote innovation and collaboration where our colleagues across the globe can grow their careers.
Acting as an escalation point and providing technical thought leadership to our Shared Technology Leadership Team.
Developing Infrastructure and Security capabilities to protect from social vectors like phishing and social engineering, safeguarding the privacy preferences of our users.
You will oversee our ~$25m Shared Technology spend and budgets to ensure short- and long-term returns on invested capital and look at new ways to monetize innovation.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in leading software development teams and projects.
Strong expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies for process management.
Proven ability to mentor and guide teams, fostering collaboration and growth.
Experience building, supporting, and optimizing large-scale systems and applications.
Effective resource management with internal, external, and global teams.
Possess a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships and trust with customers, stakeholders and teams across a global-matrixed organization.
Demonstrate experience of product innovation, discovery, development and delivery in an Agile environment.
Experience of managing a global workforce of 100+ technologists and building a positive and productive organization.
Demonstrate experience in managing and overseeing extensive budgets to optimize costs.
