VP Service ReleaseWhat you will do:- Service Release/Loan Transfers:
Performs and manages the efficient delivery of multiple high-volume new loan boarding files to various servicers and sub-servicers.
Performs and monitors the accurate transfer of escrow, buydown, principal re
Ensures that RESPA guidelines are met by overseeing the accurate and timely mailing of Notices of Transfers for every purchased and transferred loan. Performs and documents internal QA for RESPA notifications, boarding files, and transfer data.
Responds to Investor and Servicer loan level inquiries and document requests concerning loan level transfers; Performs ad hoc projects as needed
Monitors the pre-purchase data requests from investors, including current and projected balances and customer pay habits, providing accurate information and same-day responses to ensure timely purchase
Performs timely and accurate G/L and account reconciliations related to the loan sales and transfers
Monitors the loan sale errors and coordinates resolutions with Secondary Marketing, Agency Delivery, Accounting, Cash Management, and VP New Loan Setup and Transactions as necessary
Reviews and negotiates the Purchase & Sale agreements, and Servicing Transfer Instructions
- General and Management Duties:
Ensure strong customer satisfaction and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
Manages the onsite team and closely coordinates with Closing and Post-Closing personnel.
Provides Notice of Transfer and other documents requested for
audits and reviews
Supports the secondary strategies, coordinates the servicing implementations of new product offerings, and new servicing buyers, servicers, and sub-servicers.
Other duties and ad hoc projects as required
10-15 years of mortgage servicing experience
Advanced knowledge and understanding of mortgage servicing rules
Advanced knowledge and understanding of the mortgage industry with a concentration in Servicing, Secondary Marketing, and Accounting.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of Broad MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform).
Demonstrated experience in servicing function and interim servicing service release functions, including the creation of high-volume boarding files to servicers and sub-servicers
Demonstrated experience in servicing system new loan boarding activities, including data to document auditing, and coordination with Closing and Post-Closing for managing exceptions
Demonstrated experience in monitoring general ledger to servicing system reconciliations.
Demonstrated experience managing onshore and offshore staff.
