About the Role

The Vice President of Commercial Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the sales process, market dynamics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, optimizing sales processes, and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial operations strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of sales processes, systems, and tools to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and drive accountability.
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support business goals.
  • Manage and optimize sales forecasting, budgeting, and quota setting processes.
  • Drive sales enablement initiatives to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve sales productivity and customer experience.
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the commercial operations team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.


The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$225,000-330,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
