The Opportunity
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Head of Product – Point of Sale (POS) to take ownership of our core POS platform across Hospitality, Retail and Service.

The Role
As Head of Product, you'll own the vision, strategy and execution of our core POS product portfolio, leading product teams and working closely with engineering, design and commercial leadership.
You'll play a central role in evolving our platform, strengthening our competitive position and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional products to merchants around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the product vision, strategy and roadmap across Hospitality, Retail and Service.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers.
- Drive product innovation across POS, integrated payments, embedded finance and AI.
- Own commercial product outcomes, including merchant adoption, retention and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve the merchant experience and introduce new product capabilities.
- Work closely with engineering, design, sales and marketing to deliver successful product launches.
- Use customer insights, market intelligence and product data to inform strategic decisions.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape Epos Now's wider product and commercial strategy.
- Balance innovation and new product development with the continued evolution of an established international platform.
About You
We're looking for an experienced product leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, commercially driven approach.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience in product management, including leadership of Product Managers.
- Background in Point of Sale (POS), commerce technology, payments, retail technology, hospitality technology or vertical SaaS.
- Proven experience owning and delivering product strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong commercial understanding, with experience influencing revenue, adoption or retention.
- Experience building, improving and scaling software products.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, design and commercial teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior executives.
- A data-driven approach to product development and decision-making.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with integrated payments or embedded financial services.
- Exposure to AI-powered product development.
- Experience working across multiple international markets.
- Background in a high-growth technology or SaaS business.
- Experience delivering products for SME or merchant customers.

Skills Required
- 6-8+ years of experience in Product
- At least 4 years leading Product Managers across multiple teams or verticals
- Experience in POS, vertical SaaS, commerce platforms, or payments
- Ownership of a product P&L or clear revenue and retention metrics
- Experience shipping and scaling a core platform that drives adjacent revenue, such as payments, add-ons, or financial services
- Experience operating products across multiple countries or markets
- Strong people leadership and ability to build a high-performing Product Manager team
- Technical depth sufficient for trade-off discussions with senior Engineering and Design leaders
- Strong data literacy
- Executive-level communication skills
- Experience in hospitality or retail technology
- Experience with embedded payments or fintech
