As our VP of Product, you will own all aspects of the customer journey, driving product strategies to evolve and enhance the user experience across our global portfolio of products and brands. You will build and lead a high-performing product team responsible for designing and developing new and existing digital and experiential products and services focused on business results and customer experience transformation, delivered through web, mobile, internal employee platforms, and experiences. Some of our existing digital products include our vast network of technologies used by millions of visitors, such as: ticketing platforms with custom POS, ticket validation, and reservation system; mobile applications, e-commerce websites, and B2B sales portals; full-featured customer validation systems, GPS systems, and more. Our experiential products include: Tea Around Town, hop-on hop-off bus tours, event cruises, and more.

Note: This is a full-time, on-site position at our corporate office: 11 E 44th St, 6th Fl, New York, NY 10017.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and set product strategy and roadmaps for all existing and new products, balancing short-term and long-term priorities against various business needs across all markets to scale globally.
  • Own the P&L of all existing and new products, and ensure all set success targets are met. 
  • Develop and continuously optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Define metrics for success and analyze and create dashboards for key metrics. Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility, ensuring all products stay aligned with organization objectives.
  • Drive the product lifecycle process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with teams such as engineering, marketing, and partner with business teams such as operations, finance, sales to ensure that the work is aligned with overarching goals of the organization and define the product roadmap, feature/functionality development, use cases, and market opportunities.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback, build relationships, and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Hire and develop a high-performing team of world-class product managers, providing guidance and direction to achieve the product vision and strategy. Establish best product management practices through solid design decisions, processes, and tools.
  • Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and analyze competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Leveraging data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to enable advanced product analytics and measurement of key business value drivers.
  • Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning.
  • Play an active role in TopView’s leadership team and influence the strategic direction of the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years of experience as VP with a proven record of successfully prioritizing, ideating, and launching impactful products and solutions.
  • Preferred industries: ticket sales and distribution, travel fare aggregators, ride-hailing services, food delivery, or other similar ecommerce industries. 
  • 5+ years of experience in building and leading product teams, ideally in a complex, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to balance short-term goals and long-term vision understanding the impact of business decisions on the P&L.
  • Ability to craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
  • You are a strategic problem solver who has demonstrated an ability to identify important long-term trends and opportunities and translate those to meaningful insights and product priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and extensive experience using data and metrics to influence business decisions, inform priorities, and evaluate impact of initiatives.
  • Ability to drive and empower multi-functional teams while excelling and thriving in a fast-paced, fluid, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations whether in written documents, small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or to executives. 
  • Attention to detail and results driven.

Compensation:
Base salary $250k - $300k plus bonus and LTI
