- Serve as the primary investment voice for Calamos's private markets strategies (CAPVX, CAPIX, HEDGX) in client meetings, consultant reviews, finals presentations, and industry conferences.
- Articulate the firm's investment philosophy, portfolio positioning, risk framework, and performance attribution for private equity co-investments, private credit, and hedge fund of funds strategies.
- Develop and deliver customized, high-quality investment content for institutional clients, financial advisors, family offices, and wealth management platforms.
- Proactively communicate market developments, strategy updates, and portfolio insights to clients and prospects through written commentaries, white papers, and direct outreach.
- Partner closely with the Distribution teams to support new business development across the institutional, intermediary, and wealth management.
- Lead or co-lead due diligence meetings and presentations with RIAs, broker-dealers, family offices, pension plans, foundations, and endowments.
- Support the full sales cycle — from initial prospect engagement to finals presentations — by providing deep product and market expertise.
- Represent Calamos Private Markets at conferences, roadshows, and client events.
- Acts as a resource to all Calamos associates regarding questions on Calamos products.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance or other related area.
- CFA and/or MBA preferred.
- SIE and Series 7 license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related investment experience preferably in private credit or private equity markets.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively explain details about Calamos.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create a variety of reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other applicable applications.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
