The Vice President of Operations is responsible for developing and executing operational strategies that drive efficiency, productivity, and scalability. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets

  • Analyze operational performance and metrics to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement

  • Create the playbooks, workflows, and decision frameworks that let us scale without adding headcount linearly

  • Own implementation of solutions from scoping through deployment, not just identification

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance

  • Represent the COO in leadership meetings and make operational decisions when needed

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage operational risk

  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior leadership

  • Hire, mentor, and develop operational team members

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in operations management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role

  • Experience in fintech, consumer lending, credit cards, or financial services

  • Proven track record of identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing measurable improvements

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

  • Experience with regulatory compliance in financial services

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
