VP of Marketing & Communications

The VP of Marketing & Communications will play a crucial role in defining and leading Aleph Alpha's marketing and communications strategy. Collaborating closely with the CEO and Executive Team, this position is central to cultivating strong partnerships and establishing Aleph Alpha as a category-defining leader in the generative AI space. 

Your responsibilities: 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute communications strategy encompassing corporate communications, partnerships, events, and university relations. 

• Relationship Building: Build strong partnerships with senior executives, stakeholders, press, tech blogs, influencers, and key media players to position Aleph Alpha as an industry leader. 

• Team Development: Build, lead and develop a wildly ambitious team by providing strategic direction, coaching, mentorship and empowerment for team members to take charge and ownership.

• Crisis Management: Design and implement a robust crisis management framework in collaboration with agency partners and deploy if required. 

• Internal Communications: Drive transparency and engagement by developing internal communication programs that deliver timely and consistent messaging. 

• Positioning as Value Driver: Highlight communications as a critical business enabler across the wider business. 

Your profile: 

• Proven experience in managing communications for innovative technology companies, ideally in deep tech or big data, during high-growth stages. 

• Strong knowledge of the European media landscape and a track record of cultivating productive relationships with media outlets. 

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical topics for diverse audiences. 

• Passion for the AI technology landscape and emerging innovations. 

• Familiarity with tools and a data-driven approach to measure communication impact and effectiveness.
