Overall Purpose of Role:
Focusing on business development and institutional relationship management, across our Equities offering, to increase market share and execute the HKEX strategic plan.
Responsibilities:

Creating and driving targeted, integrated and effective client engagement plans & revenue generating campaigns, aligned with business goals and strategies.

Sourcing, incubating, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with key contacts at target client firms, (typically Asset Owner, Long Only, Hedge and Quant Funds, but also on the sell-side).

Structuring solutions to client business challenges by working across relevant internal HKEX stakeholders such as Product Development teams, Cash & Derivatives Trading Operations teams and other relevant departments.

Working with internal business leads to deliver assigned projects in an efficient and cost effective manner within approved budget.

Speaking at key HKEX and non-HKEX events, and drive client engagement through roundtables and other forums.
Required Knowledge and Level of Experience:

Extensive experience of revenue generating / Front-Office roles, covering Equities (cash or derivatives).

Experience in dealing with clients at different seniority levels, within relevant target clients.

Significant experience with EMEA clients and process flow components, facilitating solutions across Global Equity and China / HK Stock Markets.

Additional experience in Fixed income, FX and Money Markets is a bonus
Skills set and Core Competencies Required for Role:

Ability to develop and prioritise client engagement strategy aligned with business plans.

Ability to publicly represent HKEX when engaging industry conferences and associations.

Written and spoken English fluency for business communication is required. Proficiency in other European language is a plus.
