What you’ll get to do

• As a strategic partner to the executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Nelly’s financial success. With a hands-on and visionary approach, you’ll guide the company’s financial strategy, foster sustainable growth, and ensure we continue to disrupt the FinTech and HealthTech industries. 
• As a strategic finance leader, you will play a key role in shaping Nelly’s financial success and scalability. With a hands-on and forward-thinking approach, you’ll develop our financial strategy, drive operational efficiency, and support our ambitious growth plans. Your core responsibilities will include:
• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute scalable financial strategies that align with Nelly’s growth trajectory and long-term goals.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, empowering data-driven decisions across the company.
• Investor Relations & Fundraising: Lead fundraising efforts and manage relationships with investors to fuel Nelly’s expansion.
• Operational Efficiency: Optimize cost structures and cash flow management to support sustainable scaling.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, leadership team, and department heads to align financial planning with business priorities.

What you'll bring

• We are looking for an experienced VP Finance who is not only highly skilled but also thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Min. 5 years of proven experience in a senior finance position within a high-growth startup or scale-up (ideally in FinTech, SaaS, or healthcare).
• Strong expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, and strategic financial management, with experience optimizing financial operations for scalability.
• A hands-on, pragmatic approach and able to dive into details while keeping an eye on the big picture.
• Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and capital structure optimization.
• Experience in lending, factoring, or structured finance is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-evolving environment and take ownership of challenges.
• Fluency in English and German.
