We are looking for a Vice President of Finance to join our JPE aerospace portfolio of companies, working within a fast-paced, public-company owned environment as part of TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG). The VP of Finance is responsible for all areas related to financial operations and closing functions. This position owns accounting principles, practices and procedures across the operating companies to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly reporting to TransDigm corporate in accordance with GAAP. The VP of Finance leads the Accounting, Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence teams, ensuring work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner while developing the next generation of finance leadership. The role spans budgeting, forecasting and cash management; acquisition diligence, valuation and post-close integration; internal controls and SOX compliance; internal and external audit support; and oversight of payroll, benefits, and ERP and HRIS systems. The position requires executive presence with the President, VP’s and parent-company leadership, along with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power BI is essential, as is experience with ERP and the ability to communicate with all levels of staff.

Requirements

  

Financial Leadership & Reporting

· Lead accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management across multiple operating companies.

· Own the monthly close and timely, accurate reporting to TransDigm corporate, with financial statements presented in accordance with GAAP.

· Review results and key metrics with senior management, quantify risk, and drive actions that improve profit and financial position.

· Lead the annual business plan and monthly P&L forecasts.

Strategy, M&A & Integration

· Serve on the executive leadership team, shaping company strategy and operating priorities.

· Lead acquisition diligence, financial modeling, and valuation; evaluate targets for risk, synergies, and strategic fit.

· Own post-close integration across finance, information technology, human resources and reporting.

Human Resources & Organizational Development

· Oversee HR across operating companies, including compensation, succession planning, recruiting, and organizational design.

· Direct executive and management-level recruiting, including Controller and other key leadership roles.

· Manage bonus plans, compensation analyses, and workforce planning.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

· Ensure adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and public company reporting expectations.

· Maintain internal accounting controls and SOX compliance, and support internal and external audits.

· Lead enterprise risk management across finance, payroll, benefits, information security, and trade compliance, partnering with counsel on legal and employment matters.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, payroll, and other applicable taxes.

Systems & Team Leadership

· Sponsor ERP, payroll, benefits, and HRIS implementations, and drive standardization and automation across finance and administration.

· Lead Accounting, Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence, developing the next generation of finance leadership.

· Oversee payroll, benefits administration, retirement plans, and related vendor relationships.

· Executive leadership responsibility across multiple aerospace and aviation operating companies.

· Oversight of finance, accounting, HR, benefits, payroll, compliance, business intelligence, and integration initiatives.

· Direct involvement with corporate reporting, public-company ownership requirements, acquisition activity, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

Experience & Skills

· Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry experience.

· Experience within a TransDigm or comparable operating-model environment.

· 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, including senior executive responsibility.

· Multi-entity consolidation and public company reporting experience (U.S. GAAP, SEC, SOX).

· Demonstrated M&A experience across diligence, valuation, and post-close integration.

· Track record leading teams beyond finance: HR, systems, or administrative functions.

· Executive presence with the President, VP’s and parent-company leadership.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power BI

· Experience working with ERP systems, Quantum Control preferred, but not required

Education

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· MBA Preferred

· CPA Preferred

Compensation and Benefits

· Salaried position commensurate with experience level and skill level and/or certifications.  Salary range between $225K-$240K with an additional bonus and equity participation DOE.
