Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for enterprise sales, aligning with overall company goals and market trends.
- Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategies for key verticals.
- Build and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and ongoing development.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Sales Execution:
- Drive revenue growth by exceeding sales quotas and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead the sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals, including:
- Identifying and qualifying high-value leads.
- Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations.
- Negotiating and closing complex deals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent.
- Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute integrated go-to-market campaigns.
- Provide valuable input on product roadmap and pricing strategies based on customer feedback and market insights.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of professional experience in Sales Leadership or Business Development, with a proven track record of success in selling and pitching APIs (preferably in API or Data sales) to enterprise clients.
- Deep understanding of the enterprise sales landscape and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
