Position: VP of Creative Experience, Design, and Identity
Location: NYC (Hybrid, 3-4 days in-office)
Reports to: Chief Creative Officer (CCO)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary VP of Creative Experience, Design, and Identity to join our dynamic team in NYC. This role is pivotal in driving our competitive edge by serving as a strategic creative partner developing brand identity, experience and guidelines. You will creative context for our new products and how consumers experience them by unlocking the stories that our PD and Engineering teams are developing. The group you're leading is a bridge between Product design/engineering and Communications, from strategy, positioning, concept to content creation, overseeing all creative elements end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Creative Branding: Design & oversee the execution of the digital creative strategy across all platforms, including the SharkNinja consumer site and retail partner sites. Must have a passion for the product and a "product first" creative mindset.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Digital Marketing, Product Development and Engineering teams to ensure creative strategies align with technical capabilities and market demands.
  • Creative Leadership: Lead the development of innovative and compelling creative concepts that drive product differentiation and brand identity.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the entire creative process from initial ideation through to final content creation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Brand Identity: Develop and maintain a strong, cohesive brand identity that resonates with our target audience and enhances our market position.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends and consumer insights to inform and inspire creative strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of creative initiatives on business outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a senior creative leadership role with at least 7 years in a heavy digital focus, preferably within the consumer products industry.
  • Skills: Proven track record in creative strategy, concept development, and execution. Strong understanding of product development processes and engineering principles.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and drive creative excellence.
  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative vision and strategy to diverse stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Pay Range
$225,000-$325,000 USD
