The VP, Consulting Services, C&EE leads the consulting business in Central & Eastern Europe RBU.

The VP Consulting Services role is responsible for setting the overall strategy, communicating the vision, actively driving business, establishing and maintaining key senior stakeholder relations across the region, and managing a talented team of Consulting professionals.

The role carries significant responsibility, overseeing $120M in revenue and a team of 230+ Consulting professionals located in 20+ countries.

The VP Consulting will report directly to the SVP & GM Central and Eastern Europe, and will serve as a key member of the C&EE leadership team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Business Leadership

    • Owns revenue, margin, and growth targets for the consulting business in C&EE

    • Defines and executes business strategy aligned with IQVIA, Commercial Solutions and C&EE priorities

    • Drives scale, efficiency, and operating model effectiveness

    • Leads evolution and expansion of consulting offerings

  • Client & Market Leadership

    • Leads major client relationships building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry

    • Positions IQVIA Consulting as a strategic advisory partner

    • Directly leads major strategic deals and complex commercial negotiations

    • Maintains a constant focus on industry, client and competitive trends and applies this knowledge to both active client engagements and business development activities

  • Enterprise & People Leadership

    • Leads Senior Principals in C&EE countries. Sets clear direction and delegates fairly and appropriately allowing them the means to achieve their goals.

    • Leads the Consulting teams within C&EE as one team, leveraging capabilities and best practices

    • Owns talent strategy, leadership capability building and succession planning

    • Shapes culture, engagement, and leadership standards, acting as a role model

  • Strategic Influence

    • Works closely with GMs in C&EE countries and Global Consulting leadership

    • Represents Consulting in enterprise‑level decisions

    • Drives cross‑GBU and cross‑regional synergies

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have a record of success across most of the following requirements:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in management consulting serving the life sciences industry

  • Demonstrated ownership and large‑scale business leadership at multi-country or regional level

  • Deep domain expertise – Recognized as advisor and SME of commercialization strategies in the life sciences industry

  • Business Development – Ability to build customer relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with existing and new clients. Successful record of selling complex and strategic engagements to pharma/life sciences companies.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving – Applies an analytical approach to solving problems and reaching logical conclusions.

  • People Leadership – Proven experience in leading large multi-country consulting teams, fostering a growth environment and mindset.

  • Innovation – Ability to generate creative ideas / different approaches seeing them through to implementation, and to enable creativity in others.

  • Strong communication skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively tailoring message to target audience.

  • Planning and Organizing – Establishes and prioritizes objectives, activities, and tasks to manage time and resources appropriately

Location: Germany or Poland are preferable but candidacies from other countries in Eastern Europe will also be considered.

We also welcome candidates out of Central and Eastern Europe who are willing to relocate.

Willingness and ability to travel and visit clients and teams as needed.
