Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Structures, prices, and executes a variety of derivative products and may engage with dealer counterparties to offset customer transactions. May engage customers directly to discuss hedging strategies, and provide recommendations based on their unique business needs and exposures.
- Develops and maintains a significant presence with bankers to identify and capitalize on new leads and help grow existing customer relationships and the derivatives business broadly. Works with various internal teams including bankers, relationship managers, traders, back-office operations, and others to effectively manage and close trades.
- Assists other internal teams in ensuring trade confirmations, payments, and other materials are executed adequately, to manage customer expectations, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Helps construct regular market commentary and proposal materials for customers and internal business partners.
- Advises, at a senior level, internal and external customers on risk management through the use of derivatives and other hedging instruments.
- Maintains relationships with customers and dealer counterparties to manage and offset market risk.
- Prepares financial analyses and proposal materials for customer presentation.
- Works closely with bankers and their customers throughout the entire sales and trading process, including liaising with advisors, attorneys, accountants, and others as needed, both internally and externally.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum experience:
- 5 years of progressive interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, capital markets or investment banking sales experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Willingness and ability to travel to internal and external customers, counterparties, and team members regularly
- Developed knowledge of financial markets
- Analytical and negotiation abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong mathematical ability; advanced study/experience in mathematics for finance
- Knowledge of PC and job-related computer applications
Skills Required
