ISS STOXX is seeking a Vote Execution Analyst to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. Vote Execution analysts monitor the proxy voting flow of our clients to ensure that their votes are submitted downstream accurately and efficiently.  Analysts work with internal teams and external proxy ballot distributors in order to achieve this mission.  Vote Execution analysts serve as escalation points for clients for any proxy voting-related issues that arise and also monitor internal voting applications to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly.  Analysts monitor a number of daily and monthly reports in order to identify and resolve potential issues and continually work to create new or improve existing processes.  Analysts also work with internal and external groups to improve application functionality, operational efficiency, and communication between all involved parties with regards to the proxy voting process.

Responsibilities:

  • Link proxy ballot provider data to ISS proxy voting data.
  • Manage and improve processes that maintain and manage mission critical data for the proxy voting and proxy distribution services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert with regards to the process flow of proxies and any ballot provider-specific issues.
  • Work with internal ISS teams, custodian banks, and ballot providers to answer questions and ensure successful issue resolution regarding the proxy flow and vote instruction process.
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal teams and external constituents.
  • Review production and timeliness reports and work to implement continuous process improvement and internal controls on mission critical data.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators that are critical to achieving team goals and performance objectives.
  • Maintain data to ensure quality of mission critical information using both proprietary applications and commonly used business software applications.
  • Work with account managers and client implementation to ensure that required client data is received in a timely and high quality manner.
  • Ensure comprehensive audit trails are in place for data that is received from or sent to production systems.
  • Establish and monitor quality control metrics to identify potential data issues and taking ownership of resolution for all issues that are identified.
  • Support development of training documentation, standard procedures and systems to support growing team
