About the opportunity:
- You will be asked to record your voice as part of short conversations expressing different emotions, accents, and audio modulations and review recordings by other users.
- This freelance opportunity is remote, and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.
Requirements (Must Haves):
- Based in the US or Canada
- Native fluency in English
- Own and able to use a high-fidelity microphone for recordings (e.g., condenser microphones with no reverb or static)
- Access to a quiet location to record audio without background noise.
Other Preferred Experiences (Nice To Haves):
- Experience with any voice-related work, such as voiceover acting, social media, video game streaming, podcast recording, audio narration, or any adjacent fields.
- Experience with on-screen or on-stage acting, stand-up or improv comedy, vocal music, therapy, teaching, or life coaching fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Theater, Vocal Performance, Music, Drama, Acting
Payment:
- Currently, pay rates for core project work for voice recording is up to $40 USD per hour.
- If you are selected, you will be invited via email to complete a vocal audition on English fluency and voice-recording ability to determine eligibility
Note: Candidates based in the states of Illinois, Texas, California, New York, and Washington are currently not eligible.
