Job Description
Project – the aim you’ll have:
The project is for a client in the real estate industry sector. We are looking for an experienced developer in Java and React with migration experience and knowledge of AWS cloud environment.
Position – how you’ll contribute:
- continuously design, develop and test web services;
- work with cloud environment (AWS);
- help drive the optimization, testing and tooling to improve software quality.
- min. B2+ level of Polish and English language
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need:
- min. 4 years of experience as a software engineer
- experience with: Java 8, Spring Framework associated with Boot 2.2,
- experience with Java 17+, Spring Framework associated with Boot 3.x, React, Node.js 18
- basic understanding of Angular 1 and Node.js 10 which allows to rewrite applications to newer stack
- commercial experience with AWS
Additional skills – the edge you have:
- Hands-on experience in migrating software from older to newest versions.
- Able to handle the complexities and challenges that arise during migration processes

Resilience with Outdated Technologies:
- Comfortable working with old and sub-optimal systems
- Ability to evaluate and balance the trade-offs between a gradual migration of the old system and a radical re-write, ensuring the right approach is chosen based on technical and business need
- Collaboration & Pair Programming:
- Strong preference for pair programming
- Experience working in collaborative environments and enjoys solving problems together
- Communication Skills:
- Clear and precise in both oral and written communication
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts effectively, considering the diverse linguistic backgrounds of the team members
