Project - the aim you'll have
We are currently looking for skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python + React) - Backend Focused. If you enjoy problem-solving, have a passion for building things, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you!
Qualifications
Expectations - the experience you need
- 5+ years of experience in designing and building full-stack product features, with a strong focus on the API layer (preferably Python-based, using Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks like Lit, React, or similar (TypeScript preferred).
- Experience working in a full-stack team environment, supporting each other across backend and frontend development.
- Experience with performance optimization in both the database and API layers—identifying bottlenecks and improving query efficiency and response times.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, and performing zero-downtime production deploys and maintenance.
- The ability to scale a system from "it works" to "it handles enterprise scale"—balancing concerns of reliability, performance, and cost.
- Strong expertise in AWS, backend/API development, and system scalability.
- Self-starting, can run research and development independently.
- Collaborative—works well with product, design, and other engineers to solution, create a delivery plan, and execute on it.
- Excellent communication skills, able to produce client-facing technical documentation.
- Leadership—passion for knowledge sharing and upleveling the team, with the ability to create and manage a project delivery plan and sprint work on behalf of the project engineers.
- Experience participating in Scrum/delivery processes and ceremonies.
- Experience implementing testing strategies, writing and maintaining tests, creating test plans, and debugging complex systems.
- Bonus for previous experience in any of these product areas: mobile apps, mobile web, eCommerce platforms, affiliate platforms, Meta/TikTok/other social media platform APIs, and public APIs.
