SCMI1 has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill a vacant Data Entry and Visit Support Team (VST) role. The candidate will function in accordance with the equivalent responsibilities of an Engineering Technician III to provide critical technical assistance to Navy Regional Maintenance Center Assessment Directors to include:
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Discrepancy Documentation Tool assessment data entry
- Maintain data integrity
- Support report generation activities
- Pre-, during, and post-TSRA and INSURV event data preparation
- Stand-Alone Integrated Class Maintenance Plan support
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance.
- Ability to work with database administration tools such as MS Access, SQL, Power Query, or Power BI.
- Associate Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related field
- 3 to 5 years of shipboard HM&E experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with naval engineering key performance tracking metrics, technical writing, and system validation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation pertaining to critical shipboard assessments
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with Navy Board of Inspection and Survey procedures
- MS Office suite proficiency required
- Ability to use clear and concise oral and written communications
