What we are looking for:
- We are actively seeking dedicated tutors located in the U.S. who can commit to a consistent schedule.
- We need enthusiastic tutors who specialize in reading and math (or both) and are passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Ideal candidates will have relevant experience empowering K-12 learners and fostering their confidence and skills in these essential subjects.
- Fingerprinted Tutors- Littera will cover the fingerprinting expenses!

- Flexible Scheduling – Work when it fits your schedule, from the comfort of your home. Enjoy flexible scheduling options! You can create your ideal work hours between Monday and Friday (no weekends), from 8 AM to 7:00 PM EST. Substitutes are available if needed.

- Competitive Pay – Tutors earn $22.50 per hour for English/ELL/Reading and Math sessions. $18 (base pay) X 1.25 (paid administrative time per hour)= $22.50 per tutored hour. This is a W-2 supplemental opportunity that pays bi-weekly!

Additional information:
- Subjects: Reading, ELL, Math, or all! Tutors can choose their subjects and grade levels.
- Schedule: This is a Part-Time W-2 position up to 25 hours per week. Please note this is a supplemental income opportunity based on availability and needs. Schedules are subject to change depending on the client's needs, and hours are not guaranteed.
- Lesson Plans Created for You! The curriculum is already provided, so no lesson planning is required!
- Small Group Sessions. Students are virtually in a 1:1-1:3 setting using our Littera Virtual platform.
- Paid Background Check & Fingerprinting. Florida and California tutors are required to undergo fingerprinting before they can provide tutoring services.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Availability: Consistent weekly availability and a schedule at the exact times each day are required.
- Essential equipment: a desktop or laptop (Chrome browser) with a reliable high-speed internet connection, a headset with a microphone, and a quiet tutoring space.
- Proficiency in utilizing online virtual tools and technology.

Possible following steps:

- When we start interviewing this summer, you may be asked to complete a 2-minute one-way video reply sharing your experience with math, algebra, or reading.
- Attend a virtual mock appointment with a 5-minute mock tutoring demonstration. Hiring decisions are made within two business days!
- Review and sign the Tutor Agreement, consent to and pass a background check, and complete paid onboarding!

We started Littera to enable equitable, high-quality, and cost-effect academic support for schools and districts of all sizes. We support the delivery of individual and small group tutoring sessions and make implementation easy by leveraging the curriculum and technology districts already use.
Tutoring services exist, and Littera is not a traditional tutoring service. We built our platform to design programs and deliver services that make sense to each district and their students' specific learning needs.
