We are looking for an experienced developer to join our VideoIO team to help develop and maintain the core technology in Pixotope. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our comprehensive feature set together with the rest of the team. We are looking for a developer who wants to deliver clean reliable code for upcoming features as well as coming up with new innovative solutions and features. As a developer at Pixotope, you will be driven by technological innovation, collaboration, and continuous development, with the opportunity to influence the low-level architecture of our solution.

As a VideoIO developer in Pixotope you will:

· Develop new features and functionality for the VideoIO Service

· Develop and optimize VideoIO for real-time video processing

· Work with low level GPU code

· Enhance and improve the VideoIO service’s performance, reliability and compatibility with existing and future hardware and software, including AJA, BMD, Matrox, SRT, NDI, WebRTC and more

· Act on feedback and bugs and align with the rest of the team to quickly fix showstoppers, and plan to avoid them in the future

· Expand and refine our automatic test suite

· Work in a continuous delivery agile environment in close cooperation with the rest of the VideoIO team, the VideoIO Lead, VP of engineering and CTO

Key requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience

· Strong C++ knowledge

· Strong knowledge of Git or other version control tools

Nice to have

· Experience with AJA, BMD Decklink or Matrox hardware

· Experience with NDI, SRT, SMTPE 2110

· Experience with Unreal Engine

· Experience with DirectX/Vulkan/OpenGL or other graphics APIs

· Experience with CICD and automatic testing

· Experience with CMake

· Experience with scripting languages such as Lua or Python

· Experience with modern toolsets (including AI tools)
