Video Storyteller

At Bevel, we’re on a mission to reimagine consumer healthcare. Our first product is an integrated health app that provides tracking and coaching for the key pillars of health: sleep, recovery, exercise, and nutrition.

We are a small, fast-moving team based in NYC, passionate about building beautiful and functional products and about sharing the messy, magical journey of doing so. Our goal is to open our doors, cameras rolling, and invite the world to watch us build Bevel in real time.

Bevel launched last year, and we’ve been lucky to see incredible growth and support from our users. We’re looking for a founding video producer to own our long-form YouTube channel, shape the narrative, and bring Bevel’s story to life. You’ll have full creative freedom and the resources to create your life’s work.

• Develop documentary-style story arcs and episode outlines that capture the day-to-day of building Bevel.

• Film and direct interviews, screen-captures, and B-roll; run the entire post-production pipeline from first cut to final upload

• Craft titles, thumbnails, and descriptions that feel honest and intriguing, not click-bait.

• Own the publishing calendar, track channel analytics, and iterate based on audience insights.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing to keep the look and feel on-brand while retaining a lo-fi, authentic vibe.

• Continuously improve our storytelling process and creative culture

• Proven experience producing and editing long-form YouTube content or documentary video, end-to-end.

• Ability to ideate, shoot, and edit as a one-person band—comfortable with cameras, lighting, audio, and Premiere/Final Cut/DaVinci.

• A strong sense of narrative structure, pacing, and visual style.

• Excellent communication skills and a low-ego, collaborative mindset.

• A bias for action and an experimental spirit—happy to ship fast, learn, and refine.

• Passion for health, fitness, or startup culture (ideally all three)
