Video Producer, Customer Education
The Squarespace Video team is looking for a multifaceted and versatile Video Producer to join our team within the Customer Education department. The Video team produces several pieces of content across multiple platforms, this content includes tutorials, organic social media, marketing videos, talent brand, product releases, video series, internal content, Circle member previews, and recruiting. The team's product support and product marketing content is primarily hosted on the Squarespace Help YouTube Channel.
As the Video team expands into new areas with an ever-growing demand for produced video content, we are looking for a Video Producer who can create content surrounding product launches and tutorial/educational videos for Squarespace and its brands Tock, Acuity, Squarespace Enterprise, and Unfold/Biosites.
This is a hybrid role working from our New York City office 2-3 days per week. You will report to the Manager of our Customer Education Video Team.
Who We're Looking For
- Well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder).
- Familiarity with screen recording programs like ScreenFlow, as well as audio programs like iZotope or Logic.
- Experience filming in the studio environment (i.e. Crew roles, camera setups, lenses, different resolutions, lighting techniques, recording proper sound, etc.).
- Experience working with stakeholders, collaborators, and/or clients to assess their needs while maintaining high quality and brand standards.
- Understanding of corporate brand elements
- Well-organized with asset management and file storage.
- An understanding of audio recording, editing, and mixing.
- An openness to appearing on-camera as well as potentially giving presentations to several teams across the organization.
- Familiarity recording voice-over, of yourself or others, a major plus — you will be recording the voice-over for the tutorials you create.
- Experience using B-Roll to organically illustrate a voice over narrative
- Experience creating clear, easy to follow step-by-step tutorial videos
- 3+ years of experience producing content in a corporate environment or for corporate clients.

Cash Compensation Range: $64,500 - $103,500 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
