About the Job

We are looking for a Marketing Video Creator/Editor contractor to join our team! The selected candidate will be expected to work 20hrs per week to start. This role will be a part of the Marketing Creative Team, and work closely with the marketers to conceptualize and execute creative ideas into videos that will convert visitors into customers. This role supports performance marketing across multiple brands and channels. The contractor will primarily work on short-form, direct-response advertising videos. This is a high-volume, fast-turn environment with a focus on speed, accuracy, and performance-driven editing rather than long-form storytelling.

What You Will Get to Do
- Editing short-form performance marketing videos (primarily under 60 seconds)
- Producing multiple variations of a single concept for testing
- Translating, localizing, and reskinning videos for different brands and regions
- Updating existing assets with new disclaimers, compliance text, or branding
- Reformatting and resizing videos to meet platform specifications
- Applying subtitles, captions, and basic motion graphics as needed
- Delivering final assets in formats optimized for paid media distribution
- Working closely with marketers and creative leads through Jira-based tickets
- Iterating quickly based on feedback and performance needs

- UGC / Talking Head Videos
- Scripted and semi-scripted user testimonial style videos
- “Selfie” style talking head clips
- Scam awareness, product explainers, and trial offer promotions
- Shock-style hook videos for paid acquisition
- Paid Social Ad Creatives
- Short-form ads for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and similar
- Multiple cut-downs, hooks, and variations for A/B testing
- Performance-focused edits optimized for conversion
- Paid Search & Performance Max (PMax) Videos
- Short promotional assets used in Google Paid Search and PMax campaigns
- International variants for global campaigns
- International & Localized Versions
- Translating and adapting existing U.S. creatives for international markets
- Localized versions for regions such as Canada and Spanish-speaking markets
- Adjustments for language, callouts, and regional compliance requirements
- Platform-Specific Resizing & Formatting
- Reformatting existing videos to different aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9)
- Resizing assets for paid social, paid search, and display placements
- Compliance & Disclaimer Updates
- Updating legal disclaimers and required compliance language on existing ads
- Swapping or revising on-screen text to meet regulatory requirements
- Brand Reskins
- Repurposing existing creatives across multiple internal brands
- Updating logos, brand names, color treatments, and end cards
- UGC / Talking Head Videos
What You Bring to the Table
- Be ready to show portfolio of past projects
- Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs, such as Adobe Premier, Animate, After Effects, and Canva
- Professional mastery in using image editing software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva
- Ability to create animations and special effects to be incorporated into videos
- Ability to create explainer videos based on scripts provided
- Expertise with correct video formatting for web and television
- Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
- Experience maintaining high quality creative, strong attention to detail, operating in a fast-paced production environment
- Self-motivated, good problem solving skills, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
Huge Plus:
- Video content creating experience on YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram or other social media channels
- Expertise with using Canva
Languages:
- English - Proficient level
