Position: Video Editor
Duties and Responsibilities
- 2 editable project file in Premiere Pro per week
- Folder containing all used B-roll and graphics
- Source clips, images and pop-culture moments based on the script (fair-use acceptable)
- Build the rough edit in Premiere Pro
- Sync B-roll to the provided English VO
- Organize all footage and assets clearly inside the project
- Take direction and feedback from the senior editor and make adjustments quickly
- Clear organization for seamless Arabic re-edit
Qualifications
- Strong Premiere Pro skills
- Fast turnaround: 24–48 hours (48 hours is a maximum)
- Excellent communication and ability to take direction
- Experience sourcing footage & building narrative pacing
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple file types and organize assets
As you will be working from home, please be advised that we will require you to prepare certain Technical Requirements for you to meet the industry standard.
- A dedicated secluded working space away from noise and any distractions
- Updated personal computer or laptop with webcam
- Stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps and a backup of a pocket WiFi or Mobile Data
