Position OverviewWe’re hiring a Video Editor / Content Creator who can turn founder clips, AI-generated scripts, and branded footage into viral, scroll-stopping short-form content — fast. Think high-volume creativity, powered by smart systems, AI tools, and storytelling instincts.
If you live for trends, love speed, and can create 20+ clips a day that hit, this is your kind of environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create multiple short-form videos daily (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) using raw founder footage, branded b-roll, and AI-generated voice/text.
- Use AI editing tools like Descript, OpusClip, and Captions to cut, stylize, and caption videos quickly.
- Experiment with hooks, formats, and captions to maximize watch-time and virality.
- Produce multiple versions of the same clip (different openings, thumbnails, durations, and titles).
- Stay on top of trending sounds, memes, and visual styles and adapt them to the brand’s tone.
- Collaborate daily with marketing and social teams to align on weekly content goals.
- Maintain a content calendar and video asset library for repurposing and reuse.
- Ensure brand consistency across all content while staying native to each platform’s culture.
- 2+ years of experience editing short-form social videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
- Proficiency with AI-assisted editing platforms (Descript, OpusClip, Captions, Runway, or similar).
- Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling for vertical content.
- Ability to identify viral hooks, trending formats, and platform-specific nuances.
- Excellent attention to detail and fast turnaround under daily deadlines.
- Familiarity with modern creator culture and meme formats.
- Organized, self-driven, and thrives in fast-moving, founder-led creative environments.
- Experience editing for multiple brands or creators simultaneously.
- Basic motion graphics or sound-design skills.
- Knowledge of analytics (watch-time, retention, CTR) to refine creative decisions.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or AI workflows for idea generation and scripting.
