ADCHARIYA is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Editor who is passionate about transforming ideas into engaging video content. This role is responsible for editing high-quality videos across social media platforms, advertising campaigns, and branded content while ensuring every piece aligns with client objectives, audience preferences, and ADCHARIYA’s creative standards.

The ideal candidate understands how to craft compelling stories through editing, stays up to date with social media trends, and can adapt content styles to suit different brands and platforms.

Responsibilities

Video Editing & Content Production

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital advertising campaigns, and branded communications.
  • Transform raw footage into engaging and impactful content through strong storytelling, pacing, and creative editing techniques.
  • Select and incorporate suitable music, sound effects, captions, transitions, and visual treatments to enhance content performance.

Social Media Content Optimization

  • Adapt editing styles and formats to suit TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • Apply platform-specific best practices and current content trends to maximize audience engagement and retention.
  • Ensure all video deliverables meet technical specifications and platform requirements.

Creative Storytelling

  • Collaborate closely with Content Creators, Graphic Designers, Account Managers, and Marketing teams to execute creative concepts effectively.
  • Translate campaign objectives and creative briefs into compelling visual stories.
  • Proactively suggest editing approaches, hooks, pacing, and content structures that improve performance.

Brand Consistency

  • Ensure all edited content aligns with each client’s brand identity, campaign objectives, and communication guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards in visual presentation, typography, captioning, audio quality, and overall storytelling.

Collaboration & Workflow Management

  • Manage assigned projects through project management tools and internal workflows.
  • Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate proactively regarding project progress, challenges, and timeline adjustments.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Incorporate feedback efficiently from internal teams and clients.
  • Continuously improve editing quality, workflow efficiency, and creative execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, social media behaviors, editing techniques, and emerging content formats.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Video Editing, Content Editing, or a related role within a digital agency, production house, media company, or fast-paced creative environment.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows and file management.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for basic animation and visual enhancement is a plus.
  • Experience with CapCut Desktop is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.

Creative Skills

  • Strong storytelling ability and understanding of content pacing, audience retention, and engagement techniques.
  • Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, music selection, and visual composition.
  • Ability to adapt editing styles based on different brands, target audiences, and campaign goals.

Platform Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube, and digital content ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with current social media trends, viral content structures, and platform behaviors.

Portfolio

  • A strong portfolio showcasing video editing work, social media content, advertising creatives, or branded content is required.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Video Editing or related role
