We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor with a strong foundation in editing fundamentals and an understanding of how different formats perform across platforms. This role involves shaping raw footage into clear, engaging edits for social, YouTube, educational products, and other long-form content, with a focus on pacing, structure, and storytelling.
You should be comfortable editing both short-form and long-form video, adapting your approach based on the platform and goal of the content. Familiarity with modern AI tools as part of an editing workflow is expected.
This role is for someone who takes editing seriously, values craft and clarity, and enjoys working in a fast-moving, high-standard creative environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor working across both short-form and long-form content
- Strong foundation in editing fundamentals, including pacing, storytelling, structure, and visual clarity
- Ability to edit content for multiple formats, including social, YouTube, course content, and branded video
- Clear understanding of how different platforms and formats affect viewer retention and engagement
- Comfort shaping raw footage into polished, intentional edits aligned with creative direction
- Familiarity with modern AI tools as part of an editing workflow
- Ability to collaborate closely with strategists, producers, and project managers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment
